Two choices of rooms are available : the Balcony Room or a Terrace Room, all rooms have the facilities one would expect of a Luxe hotel-resort.  Every room has a stunning view of the Neyphu valley and the historic Eutok Samdrupcholing goenpa. In line with the well-being inclusive concept, the Sanctuary spa has 10 treatment beds as to be able to accommodate their guests at all times.  It also includes a heated indoor pool and two in-house traditional medicine doctors ready to individually design a well-being program for each guest.  There are two private hot-stone baths, saunas and steam-baths for male and female, and a gym with wooden equipment for those who like a good work-out. In the yoga / meditation / gong room guests can quiet their mind and relax their body on their own or under the guidance of in-house instructors.

 

An art room where a in-house art teacher teaches anything from creating ceramics to painting. An open-plan library has both books from both well-known Bhutanese as well as foreign authors from subjects related to well-being : happiness, mindfulness, Buddhism, modern psychology and Gross National Happiness to nature & culture of the country.

 

For those guests who want to engage in other activities there is an open multi-purpose space in the lobby and a private conference hall bordering its courtyard.

 

The Sanctuary as a place rich of interaction and learning for our guests. It is the only well-being inclusive property in Asia. Classes in mindfulness, meditation, and yoga as well as a wide variety of wellness treatments are all included. Signature treatments include Kunye - traditional massage and Numtsug - hot oil compression.
