Nepal has announced International and domestic flights will resume on 14th June, 2020.  The lockdown within the country is expected to be lifted on 02nd June, 2020.  It had initiated a travel ban in order to mitigate and control Covid – 19 for visitors from all countries since March 23 midnight.

As per the lockdown order all residents and visitors throughout the country are required to remain in their place of residence.  All movements on the road, by vehicle and on foot are currently not allowed with only essential services such as medical emergencies permitted.

Land borders to Tibet China and India are expected to re-open on 14th June, 2020. This information will be updated as and when new policies are announced.

In Nepal the low cases of C19 infected patients and 2 fatalities (as of 21 May) is a good message to intending travellers that the destination is safe.  Similarly in neighbouring Tibet China, Bhutan there have been low cases reported with no casualties.

We wish all our travel associates, clients and their families good health and keep safe in this difficult times.

We shall all emerge stronger when this is over – meanwhile take care and observe all safety measures!  Keep well, Keep smiling smiley
