Day 04 Lhasa / Yamdrok-tso / Gyantse
Head to Kambala pass which is 4794m high, you will have a glimpse of Yamdrok-tso there. It is one of the three holy lakes in Tibet . Then drive back to chushul, along Nepal friendship way to Gyantse, visit the famous stupa - Gyantse Kumpum, the most stunning architectural wonder in Tibet . Overnight at Gyantse.
Day 05 Gyantse / Shalu Monastery / upper Lungsang, trekking 5 -6 hours, 14km
Drive to Shalu Monastery from Gyantse, only 70km away. Visit Shalu Monastery. Then start trekking. Camping
Day 06 Upper Lungsang / Ngor Monastery, trekking 4hours, 8km, camping
Day 07 Ngor Monastery / Nartang Monastery / Shigatse, trekking 5 hours, 18km
Today trekking from Ngor to Nartang by passing several villages, saddles, and one electric utility. After arriving at Nartang Monastery, our driver will pick you up to Shigatse. Overnight at Shigatse ( Manasarovar Hotel or Shigatse Hotel).
Day 08 Shigatse / Tashilhunpo Monastery/Xegar
Visit Tashilunpo Monastery and the spectacular tombs of Panchen Lamas in Shigatse, afternoon drive to Xegar. Overnight at Xegar.
Day 09 Xegar /Zhangmu
Day10 Zhangmu / Kodari – exit to Nepal.
