The minority ethnic cultures of South West China are among the most colorful and unique.  With a mix of natural scenery, colorful traditional celebrations, genuinely friendly and hospitable people.  This 14 days China Tour to Guizhou Province and Guilin will be the journey to cherish after experiencing the culture heritages center of the country.

Day 1

Arrival Guangzhou
Arrive in Guangzhou, you will be met at the airport & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day. 
Overnight in Guangzhou

Guangzhou is a civilized ancient city with a history of more than 2200 years, the same age as the ancient city of Rome in Italy. It was also the earliest trade port in China that opened to the world and was the starting port of the “silk road” on the sea since the Han and Tang Dynasties. The city is now the capital of Guangdong province, you can see there ultra-modern hotels and office blocks rub shoulders with traditional temples, wet markets and historic buildings.

Day 2

Guangzhou
Today, you will take a city tour to Dr Sun Yat-Sen's Memorial Hall, Temple of Chen Family, Temple of the Six Banyan Trees and Shamian Street. After the tour, if you are interested, you can take a Pearl River Cruise as your optional night entertainment (at your own expense). 
Overnight in Guangzhou

Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Memorial Hall is one of the most important historic buildings in Canton. It is built to honor Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the great architect of Chinese revolution. The hall was constructed between 1929 and 1931, on the site of the former Presidential Palace. 

Temple of Chen Family is one of the most culturally unique complexes in Southern China. Built in the 1890s, the complex is comprised of 19 buildings which are known for great decorations, woodcarvings, and iron castings and so on.

With the famous Thousand-Buddha Pagoda standing in the temple, the Temple of the Six Banyan Trees (Liurong si) enshrines three Buddhist statuses in its Grand Hall, which were cast in the Qing Dynasty in 1663. In the Sixth Ancestor Hall, visitors can find a copper statue of Huineng, the sixth founder of a sect of Buddhism. 

Shamian Island is a sandbank island in the Liwan District of Guangzhou city. The territory was divided into two concessions given to France and the United Kingdom by the Qing Dynasty government in the 19th century. The island is a historical area that serves as a tranquil reminder of the colonial European period, with quiet pedestrian avenues flanked by trees and lined by historical buildings in various states of upkeep. The island now is the location of several hotels, a youth hostel, restaurants and tourist shops selling curios and souvenirs.

The Pearl River is the third longest river in China and the night cruise out of Guangzhou is an excursion no to be missed. Originating from Bai'etan, the boat will take you east to Guangzhou Bridge and south to Baihe Cave. On this leisure and romantic two-hour trip, you will see millions of lights of the city and colorfully-decorated lanterns shining along the river.

Day 3

Flight Guangzhou  -  Guiyang
After half-day's Hutong Tour by rickshaw to visit the ancient lanes and alleyways of Beijing, and be transferred to the airport for a 1.5hours flying to  Guiyang, then be transferred to the hotel to catch up on some rest for the expedition in Guizhou.

Day 4

Transfer by bus Guiyang  -  Kaili
After breakfast, you will take driving to Kaili and then visit Kaili Folk Museum and Matang Ge Village upon arrival.

Day 5

Transfer by bus Kaili  -  Rongjiang
Depart from Kaili, you will be transferred to Rongjiang in the morning and visit Langde Miao Village and Chejiang Drum Tower on the way. Stay overnight at Rongjiang.

Day 6

Transfer by bus Rongjiang  -  Zhaoxing
Driving to Zhaoxing via Congjiang, you will have chance to visit Basha Miao Village on the way, and then, upon arrival, take a look around Zhaoxing Dong Village. Stay overnight at Zhaoxing.

Day 7

Transfer by bus Zhaoxing  -  Sanjiang
Drive to Sanjiang Dong Autonomous after breakfast, you will then take a visit to Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge and Sanjiang Drum Tower after arrival. Stay overnight at Sanjiang.

Day 8

Transfer by bus Sanjiang  -  Longsheng
Continue your driving to Longsheng in the morning. On arrival, take a view for the famous Longji Rice Terraces and Ping'an Zhuang Village. Stay overnight at Longji.

Day 9

Transfer by bus Longsheng  -  Guilin
In the morning, take about 2.5hours driving to Guilin.  Upon arrival, be transferred to the hotel to catch up some rest.

Day 10

Guilin   by boat to   Yangshuo  - transfer to   Guilin
Depart from hotel in the morning, you will be transferred to the Pier for the Li River Cruise (about 4 hours and the lunch will be served on board). Savor the fairy-tale scenery when sail down the meandering river to Yangshang. Be transferred back to Guilin in the late afternoon. Optional Banquet of Rice Noodle is available tonight.

Day 11

Flight Guilin  -  Shanghai

Be transferred to the airport for the flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, be transferred tot he hotel.

Day 12

Shanghai
Depart from hotel in the morning, you will then have a whole-day trip of Jade Buddha Temple, Yuyuan Garden, the Old Street, Oriental TV Tower and The Bund. Shanghai's famed waterfront promenade. Optional available tonight Traditional Dim-Sum Banquet and Acrobatic for your pleasure.

Day 13

Departure Shanghai
The day is free for leisure activities until we board the home bound International flight.
