Holi festival is celebrated to herald the coming of Spring around end of February and March. It also commemorates victory of Lord Krishna over evil Kansa; a symbolic victory of good over evil. This is one of the most colorful of festivals in Nepal. This day people of all ages join in the revelry of throwing at one another color water balloons and power.
